James Keane has worked in the solar industry for over eleven years. Before graduating from Georgia Tech with a BS in Architecture, he worked in design and prototyping for a research project funded by the Department of Energy’s SunShot Initiative. It was through this research project that Quest Renewables’ core product, QuadPod™ Solar Canopy, was first conceptualized. After graduation in 2013, James assisted Formations Studio with modeling the design for Stealth, an outdoor sculpture located at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art. James now serves Quest Renewables as the Lead Architect and Design director, offering his deep understanding of digital design, aesthetics, physics, construction processes, and design for manufacturing to continually improve Quest Renewables’ products.

In his spare time, James enjoys grabbing a drink at a pub, playing Irish music, and spending time with friends and family outdoors.
