Quest’s Long Span Canopy Enables Maximum Density For Compact Waterfront Parking Lot

SITUATION

The owner of a charming waterfront restaurant in popular Lake Hopatcong, NJ selected a full service solar energy EPC to install a 250.8kW system to provide power to their building. The EPC selected Quest Renewables’ QuadPod™ long-span canopy because its design enabled our customer to maximize kWh on a compact parking lot.

APPROACH

With the system Quest designed, we were able to meet both the EPCs and the customer’s needs. The team of installers, electricians and engineers collaborated together to create a lasting environmental asset for the tight-knit community.

OUTCOME

In addition to cutting the restaurant’s electric bills and producing valuable Renewable Energy Credits, the solar carport provides an aesthetically pleasing shade cover over cars parked underneath on hot, sunny days and will protect the cars from inclement weather during winter months. The 250.8kW system is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 148,000 tons annually.
